Trinity Hotels was founded in-part by Anil, Rajan, and Anish Taneja of Palm Holdings Canada. Based on three generations of experience, and $500M+ of transactions, they know how to capitalize on opportunities in the hospitality sector. They are the driving force behind Palm Holdings Canada, which is a vertically integrated hotelier who’s primary business model has been an acquisition, value-add, and sell strategy. While this remains true today, the recent pandemic has caused a catastrophic shortage of cash in many underperforming assets; and this creates the opportunity that Trinity Hotels is looking to capitalize on. Our Team

CURTIS POTYONDI, Director of GP

Curtis has over a decade of experience in the private capital markets and has successfully created and executed offerings for numerous real estate backed investments, prior to which he was a successful entrepreneur in commercial greenhouses and petroleum. He is currently President of CP Consulting a private capital consulting agency, as well as a Director of Trinity Hotels Fund–I, a private equity private firm specializing in hospitality, and past President of Prestige Capital, also a hospitality investment firm. Curtis was a recent nominee for the Ernst and Young Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2017), he’s also an experienced private capital director and serves on the board of the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada (PCMA), and previously with the National Exempt Market Association of Canada (NEMA).

ANIL TANEJA, Director

Anil is an effective, decisive and compassionate leader with over 10 years of international experience managing both large and small hotels. As President, Anil is responsible for re-deploying the company’s equity in new businesses in Canada and the US and has a strong focus on designing and implementing initiatives which result in operational improvements and increased business efficiency. Anil is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and Young Presidents Organization. He serves on the boards of Young Presidents Organization Toronto as their Finance Chair, Represents the Eastern Canada hotels on the Franchise Advisory Board for Travelodge Canada, and has been on the Advisory Board for the Canadian Investment Hotel Conference (Canada’s largest hotel Conference).

RAJAN TANEJA, Director

Rajan is a young and successful real estate entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience and is instrumental in the strategy and growth of the company. Rajan’s primary focus has been Real Estate and Mortgage Investments in Canada and the United States. With his extensive knowledge in hotel operations, debt and equity finances, and underwriting real estate deals, Rajan is responsible for deploying the company equity and managing its corporate finances and company structure. All of his investments so far have delivered high returns that are above and beyond shareholder expectations while minimizing risk. With global experience and managing active investments in 5 different countries, he has been involved in almost $500 million dollars of transactions thus far. Rajan is a member of a number of organizations and boards and sits on the Mercury Mortgage Investment Committee, the InterContinental Hotel Group Owners Committee for Canada, and the Holiday Inn Express brand Committee for all of North America.

ANISH TANEJA, Director

Anish Taneja is the Managing Director of Palm Holdings, leading the company’s Construction division and overseeing key aspects of its business strategy. Under his leadership, Palm Holdings has successfully delivered award-winning developments across North America and the UK in partnership with renowned hotel brands such as Hilton, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Marriott, Choice Hotels, and Best Western. Beyond construction, he plays a pivotal role in strategic planning, investment decisions, and operations, driving the company’s growth and innovation.

Anish’s industry achievements include being named “Top 30 Under 30” by Hotel Magazine (Canada) and Hotel Management Magazine (USA), highlighting his impact as a rising star in hospitality. A dedicated community leader, he has served on the board of the Ritz Carlton Residences Toronto and contributed to philanthropic efforts as a founding member of the UIC supporting the UHN Foundation. Anish is also part of the campaign cabinet for Toronto Western Hospital’s $1.1 billion surgical tower and has been a member of the Toronto Blue Jays Young Professional Foundation. His leadership reflects a blend of professional excellence and a deep commitment to community and healthcare initiatives.
